Dario studied Political Science and holds a Master's degree in International Cooperation. He is now part of FSFE's legal and policy team. He has gained experience in advocating for Free Software among decision-makers and public administrations, as well as in monitoring legislative processes at the European level. He now contributes to different FSFE's activities, like the Public Money? Public Code! initiative and Device Neutrality. Dario uses he/him or no pronouns.

The Free Software Foundation Europe is fighting for device neutrality and software freedom against tech giants in Europe. This talk highlights how EU regulation, especially the Digital Markets Act, is opening new opportunities for Free Software developers. We'll explore FSFE’s advocacy, court actions, and coalition work to secure real interoperability and user control over mobile devices.
